Program Notes:

Three Songs of Remembered Love is a song cycle based on interviews I did with my grandmother about growing up and falling in love in Estonia during the 1930s and 40s. Corn Blue Shirt and The Quiet Snow Fell Down were excerpted from my 2009 documentary oratorio, And Then I Remember, and The Most Beautiful Waltz was written in 2011 to complete the cycle. Both the oratorio and the cycle were writen for Mary Bonhag and Evan Premo.
