The Seattle Symphony presents a program centered around the music of György Kurtág, curated and performed by Lucy Fitz Gibbon, soprano and William Langlie-Miletich, double bass, with a new stop motion animation film by Lembit Beecher to accompany György Kurtág’s “Fragments from the Scrapbooks of Georg Christoph Lichtenberg” for soprano and double bass. Also included is music by John Cage, Amy Beth Kirsten, and Lembit’s song “With Grandchildren” from the cycle “Looking at Spring.”
